The baguette is protected by the UN
At the end of 2022, UNESCO added the French baguette to its List of Intangible Cultural Heritage. In Paris, baker Khemoussi Mansour has won several awards for his delicious baguettes. Every day, over sixteen million baguettes are sold across France’s more than 32,000 bakeries. Photos for the daily newspaper Göteborgs-Posten.
