Swedish French Afghan Running Club
The Swedish French Afghan Running Club was an integration project I followed in 2022. Every Monday and Saturday, the runners met and trained together. The group included Afghan refugees who had lived in Sweden, Swedes living in Paris, and French participants. In Sweden, the authorities’ attitude toward refugees has become stricter. Many Afghans who were denied residence permits there fled to France, where they were allowed to stay. In response, an organization called LAMSF was founded to support the integration of Swedish-speaking Afghans. As a volunteer, I created a photo exhibition for them, which was displayed in Paris.
